HARRY POTTER POLL: What Would You Like JK Rowling to Write a Screenplay On?

Marauder's #3

The Marauders by Viria

We already know that JK Rowling is already working on a screenplay for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which has gotten Potterheads jumping for joy, but fans have always thought of possible storylines to when Sirius Black, James Potter, and the rest of the Marauders were causing trouble at Hogwarts, or the other direction, where Harry and Ginny’s kids are running about the hallways, causing their own mischief.

Warner Brothers trademarks HARRY POTTER Quidditch

What does Warner Bros have planned? It looks like they are setting certain Harry Potter projects aside.

Warner Bros. is cooking up something big for their Harry Potter franchise. They definitely aren’t done with it. On top of the spinoff Potter movie being written by J.K. Rowling, based on her faux textbook, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the studio has locked in some more trademarks that hint at some other films and forms of entertainment we might see for the franchise. One of which might lead to a sports movie that centers on Quidditch, which would be awesome! According to Bleeding Cool the registered trademarks include…

The other spinoff mini-book Quidditch Through The Ages.

The Quidditch teams Wimbourne Wasps, Chudley Cannons, Kenmare Kestrels.

The Quidditch expert Kennilworthy Whisp, and fictitious author of Quidditch Through The Ages.

Newt Scamander, the fictitious author of Fantastic Beasts.

The Potter book-within-a-book Tales Of Beedle The Bard.

Are you intrigued by what some are speculating to be a Quidditch movie?

Diagon Alley now viewable through Google Street View

If you’ve ever wanted to take a tour of the iconic wizarding shopping center, now’s your chance.

Google has added the film set of Diagon Alley to its Street View mode, enabling internet users to take a stroll down its cobbled streets and a 360 degree glance around, taking in famous landmarks such as Ollivanders Wand Shop and the Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes joke shop.

The photos are actually taken from the Warners Brothers film set. The technology in Google Street View is very easy to use, and it’s a very cool interactive experience, which you can check out here.

The Kittens of HARRY POTTER

This is probably the cutest casting I’ve ever seen.  Check out how they got the kittens to play their roles for Professor Dolores Umbridge’s plates in the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie during Animal Actors Week at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London.
