Harry Potter looks for Platform 9 3/4 at Penn Station!

This is an absolutely hilarious video for any Harry Potter fan, which we found on the Huffington Post. This will be especially funny for New Yorkers, who are familiar with Penn Station and probably wish it looked a little more like King’s Cross Station!

That kid has great poise — and he’s very quick on his feet when the guy asks him about his parents. If you saw that happening in front of you, what would you do?

Hogsmeade-esque shop opens at King’s Cross Station

What better way to recuperate after unsuccessfully attempting to run through the barrier separating platforms 9 and 10 than stock up on Harry Potter merchandise?

Platform 9¾, the spot at King’s Cross station where young witches and wizards catch the Hogwarts Express, used to be marked only by a sign (and perhaps some light staining where Muggles tried to run through the wall). But as of this weekend, a Harry Pottershop sits between Platforms Nine and Ten. The 9¾ shop lets Potter fans enjoy a small taste of Hogsmeade while they await their trains, perusing Hogwarts house gear and neatly stacked boxes of wands. Sadly, it isn’t accompanied by a fire whisky bar.

Warwick Davis, who plays Professor Flitwick, assisted in the grand opening of the store.
